Christmas Countdown day 4

On countdown day 4, the boys and I went to see the Canadian Pacific Christmas train! This was the 17th year that this train made it's way from Canada through the United States, making many stops along the way. The event happens to raise money / food for local food pantries. It's a free event but monetary & food donations are accepted. The train stops for about 30 minutes and one of the cars has been turned into a stage for a musical performance.
Every train car is covered in Christmas lights.

Christmas Countdown Day 3

For Christmas Countdown day 3, the boys painted sun catcher / Christmas ornaments. Dane painted Mickey Mouse and Kale started out painting Santa but messed up and moved onto Olaf.

 Dane hard at work...very meticulous.
 Kale working on Santa.

Countdown to Christmas day 2

For our 2nd day of Christmas fun, we opted for a movie. Cameron had an event to attend and honestly - I was wiped out. I've been watching our neighbor's daughter all week and 3 kids ain't no joke. So, we watched "Prancer" - very cute movie and I would highly recommend it if you haven't seen it. I also checked wikipedia and it was filmed in MI, IN & IL - gotta love that!

We're still here!

Wowsa! Almost a year since I last posted! We are still here and still alive. I will be posting our 25 days of Christmas again because this still serves as the only journal I keep. Pretty sad that I've let blogging fall apart completely - I used to love it. We're busy (everyone is) and I just let the blog kind of disappear. BUT quite possibly, once a year, I will be back to share our countdown to Christmas.
We added another little nugget to our family this past July!
