Cutting Teeth

Not 100% sure, but we believe our son might be cutting his first tooth / teeth. I know he's very young - only 3.5 months - but Andon had 2 teeth at four months old so I know it's possible. He's drooling like crazy, a bit crankier than usual and doesn't just put things in his mouth but GNAWS on everything. We've been letting him chew on cold wash cloths and that seems to help a bit. He woke up 3 times on Tuesday night and that is totally unlike him, but last night he slept like a champ - down at 8pm, woke up to eat at 4:30am and then slept until 7:15!! He's also napping better and longer so I think he's trying to get himself on a schedule. The only schedule we've tried to keep him on is at bed time, but his napping has been all over the place. Aside from that, he's growing like crazy! He's in mostly 6-9 months size clothes with a few exceptions. We've packed up most of his 0-3 month and 3-6 month sizes already! Cameron got on the scale with him the other evening and he's about 15.5 lbs. His next wellness appointment is on the 18th so we will see how much he weighs then. He's working on rolling over from tummy to back, but he already rolls from back to tummy. I know that is backwards from what most babies do, but for whatever reason that is what he does. He grabs at everything - my hair is always up now and those chandelier earrings I love so much are stuck in my jewelry box until further notice. We are having so much fun with him and his laid back personality is starting to shine through. Even with the teething crankiness he continues to be an easy babe and seems to just take everything as it comes.

It may seem early, but you're probably right! Braden started to show signs of teething about the same time and his first two teeth actually cut through in the 4th month. I think it takes a couple weeks from when the process starts to when you see the teeth!
I'm glad you guys are enjoying things so much, it's such a great age... and flies by so fast, I can barely remember it! Keeping taking lots of pictures.
It's nice to have the blog as a journal.

He's growing so fast! Good job, mamma! Ava's first two teeth broke through the day she turned 4 months. Emily was 5 months. Dane could be an early teether. Hope it's not to bad for him...or you!
