Congratulations to our dear friends, Sean & Sarah on the birth of their second daughter Eileen. Caitlin became a big sis on Saturday, May 24th!

Chi-Town Living

We are the proud new owners of a condo in Chicago. We have dreamed of owning a second home in the city and decided to see what was out there when the housing market took a dive. We will be using this as our own crash pad when we head into Chicago to watch the cubbies or just want to get away for a weekend. When we're not using it, we will have it listed as a vacation rental. Friends & Family - let us know if you want to make a trip to Chicago, you're more than welcome to stay here. Have a happy & safe Memorial day weekend!

Hilton Head Island

Well, we've returned...we had a great time and we never realized how great of a traveller Andon was! He did great on the plane and throughout the vacation. The weather wasn't as wonderful as we had hoped, but we all managed to get a little color (red) before heading home. It was a nice getaway and we look forward to doing it again! See below for pics and video of Andon in the pool...little water bug!

Bound for Hilton Head

Tomorrow morning we leave for 5 days of fun in the sun on Hilton Head Island with the Zehrings! This will be Andon's first vacation, first time on a plane, etc. so it should be really fun to see how he reacts. We will have many pictures to share next week! Have a great weekend!

To all the moms out there...here's to you on your special day! Enjoy being pampered and keep in mind how blessed you are! A special thank you to our moms for all the nights of worry and all the days of frustration that we're sure we caused, but look how good we turned out! HAHAHA.....

STOMP!

Teresa, Mom and I went to see STOMP! on Wednesday evening. To get a little taste of what we saw & heard, please click HERE. It was pretty amazing...they made music with everything you could possibly imagine - metal sinks, rubber tubes, plastic bags, zippo lighters. While they are using these "instruments" they are also clapping and stomping. We were all impressed with the show and if you ever get a chance, I would highly recommend seeing it.

Indianapolis Half Marathon

This weekend we took a little trip to Indianapolis so Cameron could run the half marathon with my old college roomie, Alicia. It was much milder weather than the full Chicago marathon last October (if you all remember, it was almost 90 degrees). Both Alicia and Cameron finished in great time...Cameron ran 13.1 miles in 1 hour, 51 minutes & 33 seconds. After they finished running, everyone took a nap and then we went out to celebrate Cinco De Mayo! We were also able to visit our friends Jenny, Steve & Tyler - they moved from Chicago to Indianapolis area about 3 years ago. On Sunday, we attended Reese's 2nd birthday party.

Conjunctivitis

Better known as pink eye. Does anyone else know of 31 year olds that get pink eye? Somehow I have managed to get it in both eyes! They've been red since Sunday so I decided I should go to the eye doctor last evening and the diagnosis was conjunctivitis! So, now I'm on eyedrops and I can't wear my contacts for a few days. So silly!
