Big Changes at Age 3

So yesterday Dane had his first dentist appointment. We took him to a pediatric dental office that came highly recommended by friends and our pediatrician's office...he took his frog with him for moral support. They were wonderful! Very patient and explained everything in a child friendly manner. So check that off the list. Additionally we began potty training last Friday. We were planning to wait until summer because we had heard it's so easy to train boys outside in the summer but last Thursday Dane declared "I want to wear underwear like Nathan at school" so we're going with it. Each day seems different. We've had days of 5 accidents and we've had days of 2 accidents but he doesn't want anything to do with diapers anymore and at night we have to put underwear over his diaper to eliminate the threat of a tantrum. All good things, I think. At least we're heading in the right direction. I look forward to only having one child in diapers!
