As I've stated before, this blog serves as a journal for our life. I don't scrapbook and I don't keep any baby books. This is it. I've been very bad about blogging about day to day things that happen here, things that are hilarious to us but might not be to you. Either way, I have promised myself that I will get better about it. Too many things happen that I don't want to forget and I know I will...so, here are a few of the funny things that Dane has shared with us the past couple days.
***"mommy, I have a tail." when questioned about said tail, he (of course, he's a boy) grabbed the tail that resides in the front of his body. then he one upped his own statement by sharing that Kale has a tail too.
***"mommy, I pick my nose in bed." this one doesn't really need explanation except that he picks his nose constantly and it's completely habit. most of the time he doesn't even know his finger is in his nose.
***"mommy, when I get big I can drink coffee too." one would think I'm a coffee-holic from this statement, but I only have one cup in the morning...apparently it looks cool! :)
***"time to go outside, oh yeah, oh yeah". this is spoken in the exact likelihood of Pauly D from Jersey Shore and it typically goes with anything, not just going outside. It could be "time to eat wunch, oh yeah, oh yeah" or "time for bed, oh yeah, oh yeah". And if you don't know how Pauly D says it, please google or youtube it because it makes it all the more hilarious coming out of a 3 year old's mouth.
***"looking good out there, guys!" this was stated to the construction crew that was redoing our neighbor's roof. And yes, the window that he was standing in front of was wide open. and yes, he YELLED this statement at the men. I am sure they got a chuckle.
And Kale has things to say now as well. He does have a few words that we can understand and he points at things a lot. Kale can say momma, dadda, uh oh, all done and he mimics us a lot. I also think he says Dane, but I also feel like he calls him different things (probably based on how Dane is treating him at the time).
